East Gippsland

The East Gippsland Youth Space Bus was named “Catch the…YOWIE” short for Youth On Wheels in East Gippsland by the East Catch program participants. Young participants from the Bairnsdale Youth Space Youth Group, Home School Group, Cann River college and Lakes Entrance Secondary contributed artwork which was compiled by a young local artist, Amy Allender from Lake Tyers.
Participants wanted the artwork to reflect the diverse and beautiful region that is East Gippsland,
while acknowledging the impact and recovery from the Black Summer Bushfires 2019-20.
