Participants of Youth Space will conduct interviews with local small business owners on their career pathways and business management skills to develop an insight into what it means to run your own business within Latrobe Valley. Other interview opportunities could also arise in the form of other young people who are currently forging their own path through TAFE and university and hearing from them their pathway up until now and where they would like it to lead them. Small interviews will be carried out and distributed on a number of platforms such as a podcast, short Youtube videos and Discord.

This program serves as a leaping off point for youth of Latrobe valley without a current career pathway or many employability skills. Undergoing this training at a time with a near crippling shortage of hospitality workers bodes well for their future employment opportunities. Training to be included: Safe food handlers, Barista Coffee course, RSA, Mixology.
